This is a beautiful sheer ivory gauze silk nightgown from B. Altman & Co in the 1940's. This sleep dress has a sweet lace trimmed peter pan collar and a really unique lace bib detail in front with buttons. There are front pleats coming down from the bib and a box pleat on the back.

Made in France. Excellent condition but missing original belts (garment has belt loops that can be used with a ribbon tie or other sash belt). This has a very boxy wide fit, and is so lightweight it can fit a range of sizes from S-XL.
